2025 ALL STAR Boys and Girls Double Header sponsored by Kiwanis of Santa Rosa

On a beautiful Friday night (April 4th), the 11th Annual Santa Rosa Kiwanis All Star Soccer Double Header kicked off at Maria Carrillo High School with the boys starting the first game at 6 pm.

 

Boys Game—

Rancho Cotate Coach Nick Rogers South Team faced off against a North squad coached by Windsor High’s Josh Sterling. The South scored early in 20th minute with a goal by Petaluma High’s Cris Carmona. This was followed by another South score in the 29th minute by Kellen Kramer of Sonoma Academy. Later, the North got on the board with a penalty kick by Maria Carrillo’s Jake Spector. This rounded out the scoring. Kramer was named the North MVP while Gio Flores of Piner was named the MVP for the South.

 

Girls Game-

The girls played second. Petaluma High coach Deegan Babala’s South team and Piner High’s Miguel Santoyo’s North squad played to a scoreless draw which was settled in penalty kicks. The South squad prevailed 5-4.

Stephanie Gines Alvarez of Casa Grande was named South MVP while Kalli Cho of Maria Carrillo was named MVP for the North.
