Curious About Joining ? What Can You Expect When You Join

 

Collaboration:

  • Participate at Club, district, national and international levels as you choose

  • Inclusive and Welcoming Club

  • Keep up to date on Club activities as well as invitations to collaborate with other nearby Clubs

  • Meetings are currently held on Thursdays at noon for max 90 minutes by Zoom but may return to face-to-face gathering typically at noon at a local restaurant

Connections – Build Friendships and Learn from Community Leaders

  • 3 general meetings per month on Thursdays with featured speakers on a variety of topics important to our residents, families, health and local community.

  • 1 designated social or volunteer project when there are 5 Thursdays in a month

  • Help with special fundraising events and volunteer projects as you choose

  • After hours get togethers to build connections and recognize community leadership efforts

 

Community Awareness and Support

  • Hear from speakers on broad variety of special interests such as City and County government, nonprofit, educational and business groups

  • Be involved in supported community programs (Can change yearly depending on club goals and resources)

  • Elementary school reading programs including books and dictionaries gifted to students at Luther Burbank and Steele Lane School

  • Music Education through Santa Rosa Symphony including annual summer youth music program, Simply Strings and Free Symphony Concerts for Youth

  • Montgomery High student breakfast program in partnership with Church of the Roses

  • Salvation Army

  • Kiwanis Family House-(family residential

  • Fire Victim Relief

  • YMCA

  • Redwood Food Bank

  • English School in Mexico

  • Veteran’s Appreciation Lunch

  • Santa Rosa High Key Club support
